Tips for a good reading

Hold the phone about 20 to 30 cm (8 to 12 inches) above the bill.
Lay the bill flat on a plain surface, in good light.
Try to fit the whole bill in the picture. Either side works.
If BillVoice can't read it, follow the spoken tip and try again.

Common questions

Which currencies work?
Most banknotes in circulation around the world. Coins are not supported.

Do I need an internet connection?
Yes. Each photo is identified on our server, so you need Wi-Fi or mobile data.

How do I take a photo with VoiceOver?
Double tap the camera area, or do a two-finger double tap (Magic Tap) from anywhere in the app.

The result is in the wrong language.
Open Settings in BillVoice and choose a language, or pick "Same as iPhone".

Can I trust it with large amounts?
BillVoice is very accurate, but no tool is perfect. For large or important payments, please confirm the amount another way too.
